- Howdy Xbox Peeps. After multitudes of tweets, emails, and even phone calls demanding that we bring Star Wars: Episode I Racer to Xbox One, we’ve made it happen. Seriously, go look! You can pick up Racer on Xbox One and start racing on Tatooine immediately. Anakin is waiting for you.
- So I made the mistake of telling my 6 year old son there is a Star Wars Pod Racer game. Went to download the demo and of course it doesn't work anymore (tried on Mac and PC).
On request! Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for Mac has been added to Porting Kit. Climb on, strap in, and experience the pure adrenaline-pumping excitement of the Podracing sequence from STAR WARS™: Episode I The Phantom Menace. The Port has 2 little flaws but fully playable. Hope to fix those 2 bugs in a next Wrapper update soon: 640×480 Resolution only and the intro/clips have no sounds. The in-game sounds/music just work fine. Have fun!
Install is simple:
1. Get Porting Kit or Crossover if you don’t have it yet.
2. Then download the GOG.com setup file from Star Wars Episode 1 Racer from GOG into your download folder.
3. Then in Porting Kit search the game in the library –> server tab and click install.
4. After installation of the game, “exit” the GOG installer.
5. Click “Play” to start the game! Have fun!
Podracer VR is a solo developping prototype inspired by Star wars episode I Racer. Choose your podracer, choose your track and compete with AI for the first place in virtual reality. This game is still in development, for now it contains a two tracks and three podracers for testing. It contains two play modes, the 'realistic' which is the full.
Game Description:
Take the controls as Anakin Skywalker, or any one of over 21 Podracers, and feel the full-force blast of two massive jet engines at simulated speeds of up to 600 mph. Rein in a turbine-driven chariot through 8 spectacular worlds. Negotiate through flaming methane lakes, Tusken Raider assaults, ant-gravity tunnels and much more in a pulse-punding, do-or-die fight to the finish where anyone will do anything to cross the finish line. How far will you go?

Podracers were repulsorcraft that were built as racing vehicles. Capable of achieving speeds over 700 kilometers per hour, podracers were used in the similarly named sport of Podracing.[1] Podracers came in various shapes and sizes, although the general construction of a Podracer was a one-man cockpit that pulled along by two engines which were attached to the cockpit via two cables. Variations of this included the Podracer used by Ben Quadinaros, which had a total of four engines connected to the cockpit. Another, more unusual Podracer was the one employed by Neva Kee, which was one solid unit, with the cockpit placed in front of the engines. Podracers could also be modified at the owner's whim. The crafty Dug pilot Sebulba, for example, had installed an illegal flamethrower on his racer. Anakin Skywalker flew a heavily modified Podracer that was partially built from the ground up. Other Podracers included the Ord Pedrovia, which was piloted by Gasgano, and the Vulptereen 327, which was piloted by Dud Bolt.
